The Vico

Join us for drinks and dancing! The Vico is the perfect place to unwind at the weekend. During the day we have all your favourite sports showing on the big screen. Later into the evening we are spinning the tunes and serving up some of the finest cocktails in Dublin. The Vico is also the perfect space for parties and special celebrations. Leila Jane

While possessing a voice that has been described as ‘’somewhere between Janis Joplin and Sandy Denny,’’ Leila Jane’s music is an interpretation of the surreal paradoxical reality the haunted soul finds itself facing. The raw and honest expression in her work is a testament to her affinity with blues music.

After spinning her tune ‘Look So Sweet’ Cathal Murray of Late Date (RTE Radio 1) described Leila Jane as ‘’one to watch’’. The song was also added to Glastonbury’s Spotify playlist of 2019 performers. MP3 Hugger said of Leila’s latest single: ‘’Every second of ‘Look Away from Our Creation’ is key to the song’s success, it is meticulous without ever feeling as if it has been robbed of even a droplet of joie-de-vivre.’’ Hot Press Magazine once likened her to the ‘’sultry folk of Karen Dalton’’ and Golden Plec noticed Leila Jane’s ‘’passion and attention to detail’’ during her support performance for Chris Shiflett of the Foo Fighters.

Chosen by Imelda May for the ‘Imelda May Scholarship at BIMM Institute Dublin’ because she felt Leila’s music had heart, Leila Jane has performed at international festivals including Glastonbury Festival, Brooklyn Americana Music Festival and Electric Picnic. She also played support for artists such as Jessica Lea Mayfield, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Angie McMahon and Rival Sons.

Phelim Drew

Phelin Drew is an actor and singer and is the son of Irish music legend Ronnie Drew from The Dubliners. He has acted in many plays at Dublin's Abbey Theatre and has film roles in 'My Left Foot, 'The Commitments', 'Into The West, and 'Angela's Ashes' to name a few.

Phelim is currently touring theatres with his show 'Remembering Ronnie's to huge acclaim.

One of Phelim's passions musically is his love of R&B/ and Soul/Blues with a little country for good measure, and thats what we at The Queens will have the great pleasure of hearing him perform on his appearances with us.

Niall Toner

Niall Toner is a singer, songwriter and performer from Dublin, and son of well known RTE radio broadcaster also Niall Toner! He has played with The Dixon, The Cajun Kings,Hank Halstead and The Rambling Turkeys, and The Lofires among others. His current band Strand's critically acclaimed album from 2018 'Can't Trust The Rain' is still garnering airplay nationally and internationally.
Niall's shows at The Queens will showcase an eclectic mix of his favourite classic songwriters and more contemporary pop/rock offerings.

Lorcan Hughes

Lorcan Hughes is veteran Musician & Singer who has play every stage from the Olympia Theatre & vicar street to EP Body & Soul Finland to Fingal Dublin to Dubai his interactive shows are always unique as every audience is unique, the only guarantee is joy! which Lorcan always bring to every show

Mark Dillion

From Bruce Springsteen to Neil Young to Bryan Adams, Mark Dillion has it all covered so well. His voice and general swagger more than recreates the modern American Songbook and it really is his great forte. Where usually he has stuck close to well known city centre venues, one of which has been a residency of his for 15yrs!, we are delighted he is now extending his live schedule to include appearances with us at The Queens, sure he needs some of that beautiful fresh sea air!
